Okay, so we went out for a cause.

John and Eric recently had the opportunity to perform in support of Habitat for Humanity. They played instrumental music during the cocktail hour of Habitat's 2005 Harvest for Habitat gourmet fundraising dinner. The show consisted of largely other people's tunes, including James Taylor, The Beatles, Neil Young and others, but they did manage to sneak in a few originals (Take that, philanthropy!).

In all seriousness, The Eric Thompson Project is thrilled to have been able to come out in support of such a worth-while cause. Habitat for Humanity performs an amazing service for our community and we were proud to contribute our time and effort to make their fundraising dinner memorable. The performance was recorded, and a live EP of the show will soon be available. All sales proceeds will go directly to Habitat for Humanity.

Art and graphics for the album are still being arranged, so it may be a little while before it is available. In order to avoid complications no advance orders will be taken, but we will keep you informed as to the release of the EP.
