We Are Experiencing Technical Difficulties.

And man, are we not kidding. The new album from Gravity + has experienced all manner of technical difficulty electronic, data, and biological. Not to mention a healthy dose of good old fashioned procrastination.

But we are like The Terminator: we feel no pity, no pain, no remorse, and we absolutely will not stop, until the album is delivered all good-soundy and such.

Building on the experiences of Brutally Eaten by Zombies and performances like the one for Habitat for Humanity, The Project has built a very different and much broader album. Fan response to early exposure has been incredibly favorable, and the band can't wait to see how things turn out.

With the addition of new band members, texture, depth and range have become the new watchwords. From the silly, dancy fun of the jazz instrumental Akley's Oasis to the somber storyland of Only Questions or the brutish, up-front anger of Slave Logic and Back of the Bus, it's clear that the group has grown immensely and now not only has a great deal more to say, but are also better at saying it.

The party celebrating the release of the album will feature all the performers from the album, as well as newcomers Davor Zubac on guitar and Nick Grover on percussion. The two are very recent additions to the Gravity + family, but have melded sonically and intellectually with the band in a way that is, by now, becoming nearly traditional. Not only is the performance coming together superbly, but everyone is having loads of fun preparing. "Let's do that one again, it's fun," is possibly the most commonly used phrase in the band's lexicon.

The past is bright here at the project, but the future's so bright we gotta wear shades.
