Nicole Good Pierce

is a local talent of legendary proportion. Classically trained, she is as comfortable with an Italian aria as she is with a smoky jazz number (although neither form appears on "Technical Difficulties"). Her voice is only one among many of her admirable qualities, as she is a relentless local music news machine, kick-ass mom, and kick-ass friend.

Will Metz,

smokin' saxophone player, joins Gravity + for the impishly fun instrumental romp, "Akley's Oasis," named for Project bassist John Akley. Will brings texture, fun, and immense talent to the piece. He is large and cool, and like the rest of the band couldn't help but do a little dance while recording.

John Akley:

This man may have more talent in his little finger than most of us have in the large intestine. Including the colon. He is a powerful and interesting bass player, who also happens to make some darn fine vino in his spare time. He and Eric spend many hours watching movies and doing unspeakable things together. He is a very cool cookie.

Eric Thompson (contributed by Nicole Good Pierce)

When I think of inspired and impassioned people... Eric Thompson is forefront in my mind. In this world of media (where we could feel insignificant by the great talents coming at us w/ great speed and quantity) it’s easy to get discouraged. Eric has a focus that has propelled him through that sludge and on to his own greatness.

Addendum from the Redman:

He also has friends who are very, very nice when they talk about him. Usually.
